Couple of weekends ago a group of my friends and I set out to do the shoot I had dreamed of doing for many years now, Magic Knight Rayearth manga version! Growing up on anime, Rayearth was one of the first series I become addicted to and I’ve always loved Shidou Hikaru the most (check out the shrine I made for her 11 years ago, and check out my web / graphics skills way back in 2000)
Our photographer was the ever talented Neil Creek, with help from his equally talented wife Naomi Creek and Surfaced π I cosplay Hikaru (red), Sefie was Fuu (green) and Annie was Umi (blue).
Here are some of my favourite photos from the shoot.
I am putting together a video montage / documentary of the behind the scenes shoot and hope to upload it for all of you very soon π I had the most amazing time on this shoot, it was filled with laughs and bugs, and the company was second to none π
Thank you to everyone who was involved, you really came through for me and made me incredibly happy, thank you so much <3
I’m totally printing this photo in memory of my gorgeous friends and I doing what we love best π

Sounds so much fun posing these shots and I love Anime cosplay. The costume looks amazing. I remember watching Magic Knight Rayearth very adorable and pretty anime. Are you planning to dress as Sailormoon anytime soon? I love that series when I was younger.
Celina says
Yay! I’m so glad someone besides me has actually heard of Magic Knight Rayearth before! I used to watch it all the time in my teen years π
I’m actually hopign to one day cosplay Sailor Mercury, just because growing up she was the Senshi I could most relate to, nerdy, shy and loves computers etc… maybe not so much about the good grades tho hehe.

Wow! Just Wow! What a BRILLIANT shoot! Love it!
I hope you’ll do the Sailormoon look soon! That was one anime I watched ages ago and I loved, loved Sailor Mercury too! She’s gorgeous, and I reckon you’d be able to pull off her look fabulously! π
Celina says
Thank you! It would have been the perfect shoot if everyone wasn’t been stalked by bugs X_x;
Yay! I hope I manage to make a good Sailor mercury, thank you hun <3
