A while back I posted about my love for the OPI Mini Polishes (that photo brings back memories especially since I only own like 2-3 of those bottles now, gave the rest away!) and how awesome the concept of mini nail polish bottles are, just because how many of us finish up an entire bottle of nail polish? Very few, so it makes sense, especially for more “branded” nail polishes to purchase smaller bottles.
Proud to let you guys know that ORLY is doing the exact same thing! (I think Essie is too but I haven’t been able to get my hands on any). I decided to grab a few bottles for myself and show you some swatches!
Normal sized bottles give you 15ml, the miniatures are 5.3ml.
Gumdrop
A peppermint green creme, very opaque, this is 3 coats without a top coat.
Lemonage
A light almost fluro lemon yellow creme, it really does pop on the skin! It’s certainly a fun, less than conservative colour, not sure it’d be a colour I frequent though! 3 coats, no top coat.
Pink Lemonage
Okay, this is a colour I could frequent. It’s a semi-transparent pink with lovely micro shimmers scattered throughout the formula. Pictured here is 3 coats, but I think I actually prefer it with 2. 1 coat would look amazing on any other pink polishes, it has that “jelly” look to it. Right now I’m really loving the jelly look in nail polishes.
These polishes sell for $7.95AU at most chemists, or you can buy them online.
