Introducing Orly’s Tis the Season Holiday 2010 collection~ Overall, the formula for these holidays were pretty consistent, all had strong enough pigmentation that I only needed 2 coats for each polish and as usual no top coat so you can see their “native” finishes. Let’s get into it!
Winter Wonderland
A “white gold sparkle”, which when literally compared to white gold is a pretty accurate description. This polish really does remind me of snow, and it looks absolutely stunning on the nails. My favourite from the collection, the down side is the glitter pieces are medium to slightly chunky which means this is a pain and a half to remove ๐
Rockin Rockette
A deep Burgundy red with gold shimmer, reminds me of red velvet chocolate. Unfortunately for some reason I don’t believe the polish photographed accurately, it appears far more brown then red in these photos ๐
Naughty or Nice
A very very dark red wine creme, it virtually looks black for the most part, unless you take the time to really look at it you can see the red wine colours. This kinda of reminds me of OPI’s Black Chutney Cherry minus the shimmer.
Meet me Under the Mistletoe
A deep emerald green with gold / silver glitter. Despite the glitter bits, the polish still applies smoothly and is easy to remove. I really adore how mystical this shade looks, it’s very unique in my opinion, love this!
Glitz Glamour
A deep rich shimmery gold, a beautiful non-chunky shade but I can’t help but think this isn’t exactly unique either. I don’t know a good dupe off the top of my head, but I know I’ve seen this shade before. Still from my memory this is probably one of the better formulations of gold.
Candy Cane Lane
Another red creme, nothing unique or new, but everyone does need a red creme in their collection, so if you haven’t got one yet this is actually quite a nice one to have.
Overall
Winter Wonderland, hands down! I love applying this on top of one coat of a frost white polish to give it that extra lift! Generally I’m pleasantly surprised by the pigmentation and formula for these polishes, for some reason didn’t expect them to go on so well.

I like the Glitz Glamour and the Winter Wonderland the best!
They definitely scream out festive cheer to me when I see them. Especially Winter Wonderland as it looks a lot like snow! ๐
